Description

A selection of datasets on UK electricity fuel mix and carbon intensity. Live, 24 hour forecasted, and historical. National and regional grid intensity available. They aggregate data from a number providers, e.g. Exelon, National Grid, etc., so you may be able to find more direct access to the data you're looking for there. There is also a new service, provided by Edinburgh Energy & Environment Consultancy.

When to use

The provenance of the supplier data is not entirely clear. I'd advise against using this data for carbon accounting, but it could be used for informative purposes.

Limitations

As above, also carbon intensity factors reflect emissions from generation only.
