Description

GREET (Greenhouse gases, Regulated Emissions, and Energy use in Technologies) is a life cycle assessment (LCA) model covering the environmental impact and energy use of vehicles, fuels, chemicals and materials (including plastics and biomaterials) across the different stages of the value chain. It is predominantly used to assess the impact of new vehicle types and to compare emissions from different fuel types. There are several versions within the GREET family, the most commonly used is R&D GREET.
